 My Hairdresser is a Hottie!

When my friends talk about where they get their hair cut, coiffed, and colored, they always mention the special relationship with their barber or stylist.  A few of my friends are very loyal to a hairmaster, while others seem carefree, going from stylist to stylist, and never quite feeling they have to be "faithful" to one person.  Kinda sounds like dating, doesn't it?
Well, maybe their are a few similarities between getting your hair done AND dating.  Think about it.  First of all, we all are looking for some physical requirements in our professional...are they sporting a style of cut that shows off their face?  Do you prefer a man or woman?  Do you like both sexes?  Dark hair?  Blond?  Facial hair?
Does the stylist take care of himself?  Is he athletic, ruggedly-handsome?  Is she "hot"?  Should they resemble the sophisticated look of a porn star of the hair world?
DAMN RIGHT, THEY SHOULD!
You, as the guest, are paying the professional barber/stylist because they  meet your physical standards.

After we romance our clients with small talk, a pampering shampoo (this is an intimate service, and we want you to enjoy it and close your eyes in anticipation for it), and the first haircolor or cut goes well, we as the professional set your next appointment and treat you as the most important person in the world.  For those 20 to 30 minutes, you are the most important person to us, because you are in our chair, a sacred space for the stylist.  You are in our Pleasure World, and we will make your look your best, every single visit!

Now that you have gotten to know us, you appreciate our personality, our abilities; all the intangible qualities that make up the individual.

Physical attraction is what typically attracts us at first, and eventually we gain appreciation for the other aspects of what makes our special hairdresser the perfect choice for us.

I always welcome your comments, and appreciate your input.    Remember that my blog with address a lot of issues, and some postings can be blunt and "in-your-face".  No apologies on that, just want you to be aware!

When In Palm Springs...

I recently discovered that Palm Springs is still a hotbed for wonderful fetish fashion.

Located in the heart of Palm Springs is Gear Leather, a fetish clothing and gift store that has always had a loyal following.  The store is within walking distance to many a gay club and restaurant.  Leather,  fetish wear, toys, furniture, and all the "educational videos" you could possibly need can be found here in the middle of town.
Remember that this shop is for the kinky folk and for those who uphold a healthy view of gay male sexuality.  Those of you who are under the age of 18 can just backtrack and check out the newest music download.

Check out Gear Leather on their website:   www.gearleather.com

Lighten up for the summertime....

Time to lighten up for the summertime with a bit of color and highlights.  An easy way to decide if you look better with warm or cool tones is to decide whether you look better in gold or silver jewelry.  Gold means you look better in warm tones, and silver helps decide that you look better in cool tones.
Also, stop by Cobblestone Salon and ask for a free color consultation.  That way, you have ample time to talk and ask questions about transforming from your natural color to a color that will still flatter your skin tones, eye color, and personality!

Bring it on, Ballard!

Settende Mai!

May 17th, Norwegian Constitution Day, was a fantastic opportunity to meet all the neighbors here in Ballard!  I was even able to squeeze in a few haircuts before the parade began at 6PM.  The Nordic people know how to throw a party...
